FYI: “Why aren’t you on Facebook?”
The short answer is privacy. A couple of years ago, I read an article about Facebook and how they upload every contact in your address book to their system. I checked the Facebook settings, and sure enough, every contact was listed — including those in which I had Non-Disclosure Agreements. These were clients who didn’t want people to know they were using a ghostwriter, like me.
So, I removed all the contacts and deleted my Facebook account.
